As we reflect on the 2025 Texas Legislative session, it is imperative that LULAC takes a leading role in addressing critical issues that directly impact our communities. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts are under attack, school voucher proposals threaten to drain essential resources from our public schools, and immigration policies continue to marginalize and endanger our families. On the positive side is Ethnic Studies, a legacy agenda for our community. LULAC must stand firm in advocating for equitable representation, access to quality education for all, and humane, just immigration reforms. Consider attending this panel that reflects on the outcomes of the 2025 legislative session.
Join us for a dynamic panel featuring LULAC-affiliated housing organizations, lenders, and realtors working collaboratively to expand access to affordable homeownership across Texas. Together, we’ll explore how community-led solutions can shape an inclusive housing agenda in an era of shrinking social services and rising housing challenges.
This workshop invites participants to engage in thoughtful conversation and experiential learning around what it means to be a supportive ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Together, we’ll unpack common challenges, share practical strategies, and build the confidence to show up for our queer community. Whether you're just beginning your allyship journey or looking to deepen your impact, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and grow. Join us to become a more intentional, informed, and empowered ally—because inclusion starts with action.
